Celebration Distillation Corporation, producer of Old New Orleans Rum and Gingeroo, is pleased to announce that former Tales of the Cocktail Marketing Director, Jeremy JF Thompson, has joined the company as Director of Sales and Marketing.
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Thompson will be creating and implementing strategies for Celebration Distillation Corporation to further establish Old New Orleans Rum as a point of pride for New Orleans and Louisiana. Celebration Distillation continues to innovate with the recent release of a limited edition 1718 Tricentennial Blend in honor of New Orleans 300 years. Thompson is passionate about the way of life in New Orleans and views Old New Orleans Rum as emblematic of that lifestyle.
Thompson brings 12 years of spirit industry sales and marketing experience to the team and is credited with the online growth of Tales of the Cocktail over the last four years, as well as with the creation of the global Tales Attache program. Tales of the Cocktail’s Instagram account, which Thompson built out, was recently called out by the COO of Instagram as one of six New Orleans Instagram accounts small businesses can learn from. Thompson also founded the New Orleans Daiquiri Festival. He’s been a long-time advocate for Old New Orleans Rum and is dedicated to seeing its legacy grow in New Orleans and beyond.
